Asbestos Surveys

We understand the importance of compliance (CAWR 2012) when preparing asbestos surveys, which is why Oakmere Contract Services only use UKAS accredited surveyors. We provide our clients with accurate and detailed Asbestos Management or Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys in a timely manner, meeting and exceeding industry standards. We can then carry out any works required based on the survey results at your request.

Asbestos Management Survey – Previously known as a Type 2. Its purpose is to locate, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect ACMs in the building.

Refurbishment & Demolition Asbestos Survey – This has replaced the old Type 3 survey. Prior to refurbishment or demolition work being carried out, an R&D survey must be completed.

Asbestos Re-inspection Services – Once ACMs have been identified, it is the duty holder’s responsibility to inspect these items (at least annually) and create a Management Plan.
